Clinical Applications:

Circulation - Black pepper is one of the best aids for circulation and you can blend it with Lemongrass in massage oils, lotions or creams.

Digestion - Nausea can be reduces by inhaling Black Pepper. Add a couple drops to a tissue and inhale for a minute or two.

Immune and Respiratory - Be sure to keep this on hand during cold and flu season. You can add a drop or two to a massage oil for the chest or to your feet to warm up the body stimulate your immune system. It is a good chest rub for alleviating congestion.

Musculoskeletal - Black Pepper is really helpful for sports ailments, sore muscles, pain and stiffness. This includes rheumatic pain. It works well with Lavender, Basil, Clary Sage, Sweet Marjoram, Rosemary, Geranium and Juniper Berry. It has great analgesic and anti-inflammatory qualities.

Smoking cessation - It has been found that inhaling Black Pepper significantly reduces the craving for cigarettes.

Safety: This oil can be mildly irritant or sensitizing, avoid it in baths or massage if you have sensitive skin.
